Floating Holidays Labor Day Sept 3, Thanksgiving Nov 22, Easter March 23 Board meetings are normally held on Monday following the club luncheon unless changed by the board. (Backup Board Meeting date 1 week following scheduled date - 5:15 pm normal time) * National Transportation Week is the week containing the 3rd Friday of May by presidential proclamation. * Per bylaws the nominating Committee consisting of the President, immediate past president, and the first year directors shall meet and nominate candidates on or before March 15 and report them to the secretary who shall have them published in The Wheel on or before April 1st. Ballots are to be counted by the Friday preceding the annual business meeting on the first Tuesday in May. * Club business meetings are the first Tuesday of each month September through May except as changed by the board. * The annual business meeting shall be the first Tuesday in May of each year. * Annual dinner will be the last week in May unless changed by the board per bylaws. * The Board of Governors shall meet once each month on call of the President and more often if necessary. The President with board approval may waive a monthly meeting. |
