This month we will be meeting in The Grill Room on the 9^th floor of the elegant Houston Club. The Grill is directly below the Gulf Coast Room where we have been meeting. You do not have to be a member to attend.  The building has direct access to the air conditioned tunnel system and is within walking distance for Shell, Chevron, El Paso, EPCO, Total, Lyondell, Hess, Renewable Biofuels, EOG and many others.  Walk, carpool or just bring a load of customers. Come as early as 11:15 to network with others.

                              Rail Project Leader for Arup Consulting Engineers

Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services.

Founded in 1946 with an initial focus on structural engineering, Arup first came to the world’s attention with the structural design of the Sydney Opera House, followed by its work on the Centre Pompidou in Paris and most recently, its work for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Steve Clark leads Arup’s rail business for the Americas Region, and is a member of Arup’s Global Rail Executive Board.  He has over 25 years experience designing, executing, and managing technical projects in the railway and electrical power industries.  Steve provides a range of consulting services to railway clients internationally.  He has led or served on rail projects in North America, South America, Australia, Europe and Africa.  His experience ranges from heavy haul freight to high speed passenger service, including expert witness work for railway design and vehicle-track performance.  He received his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1983, his MBA in 1996, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Colorado and Texas. -more-
